God, who created the world, and all things in it, is not silent. He has spoken. He has revealed a lot about how powerful He is through His amazing creation–the world we live in. But we have His clear and authoritative word to us in the message that He committed to His apostles and prophets–the Bible.
In short, the Bible is about who we are, who God is, how we’ve sinned against God, and how God has amazingly provided salvation for sinful human beings through His Son, Jesus Christ.
About 2,000 years ago, God sent His Son into this troubled world. He became a human being, was born to a virgin named Mary, in Nazareth, a backwater town in northern Palestine. Jesus lived a holy, admirable life, worked miracles, and spoke about the Kingdom of God, how to know God, and how to live a life honoring to God. He angered the religious establishment, threatened the political stability of Palestine, and gathered alternating crowds of admirers and bitter enemies by turn.
In His life He was pure, spotless and sinless, worthy of our closest admiration. His works were the works of God, amazing, and mighty. His words were holy, reflecting their heavenly origin. He declared without blushing the unending glories of a holy heaven, and the terrors of a sinner’s hell for those who die rejecting Him. He came to this world not to serve Himself, but to glorify God and, amazingly, to save sinners from this sinful world! He healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out demons with a word. He died a cruel death on a Roman cross. But in dying He offered the sacrifice of Himself in the place of His followers. He took the anguish, pain, shame, and wrath of God wretched sinners like you and me should experience for eternity in hell!
After three days this amazing Man rose again from the dead, demonstrating to the whole world that He is who He said He was, the Son of God. He ascended to heaven after 40 days of being with His disciples and then sent His Holy Spirit upon His disciples to bear witness of Him and to prepare a church, a called-out, new nation of people, from every nation, tribe, and language, to believe Him, worship Him, and obey Him. He has given His promise that He will return, to the great joy of His people and to the shame and destruction of all those who disbelieve and despise His gospel.
This site is dedicated to proclaiming the amazing Person of Jesus Christ, and the great works that He has done and is doing, as He is now King of kings and Lord of lords.
