“You either believe it, or you don’t.” Jesus’ kingship demands a personal response from every person. Before a small group of disciples on a mountain in Galilee, the once crucified, but now resurrected, Jesus stands and makes an astonishing claim: “All power (or authority) in heaven and in earth, is given unto me”! (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ not only reigns over His churches, but He rules over all the nations, governments, people, and events of this world. Everything from the largest super-galaxies to the smallest sub-atomic particles are under His control.
What about you? You are either bowing now, submitting to His rule, or you will bow when He comes again and every knee will bow to Him, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! (Philippians 2:10-11)
